Submissions
Reading Periods
We will open for our annual contest on April 15th and for general submissions on September 15th. When we open, you may submit your work on Submittable via the button below. We are excited to see your work!
We no longer accept submissions via email.
General Guidelines
As a student and alumni-run journal, we cultivate a publishing environment of acceptance and tolerance. Any work deemed by our editors to be racist, sexist, homophobic, or in any other way intolerant will be declined.
We do not accept previously published work.
We accept simultaneous submissions, but please withdraw your piece immediately if it is accepted elsewhere.
Writers/artists may send only one submission per genre per reading period.
All written submissions must be in a Word doc, double spaced, with 12-point Times New Roman font.
All art submissions must be in .jpg or .png format.
In your cover letter, please include a brief third-person bio.
Since we are on a university schedule, we try to respond to all submissions within three months.
See below for genre-specific guidelines.
